The organization invited the staff, faculty, and students to help make their patients happy by providing some simple Christmas decorations. Wendy Potts, Volunteer Coordinator from Bella Care Hospice, visited the campus and shared exactly what Bella Care is about. \u201cWe were very pleased that she was able to attend both day and night session,\u201d shared Campus Director Beth Millard. The students and other members of the staff and faculty were also very interested in learning more about hospice and what they offer.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/Ross-Medical-Education-Center-Dayton-Makes-Christmas-Decorations-for-Bella-Care-Hospice-1-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Ross Medical Education Center Dayton Makes Christmas Decorations for Bella Care Hospice\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-101307\" \/>According to their website, \u201cThe mission of Bella Care Hospice is to affirm and celebrate the significance of human life and recognize dying as a natural process. Bella Care carries out their mission by providing superior health, social, emotional, and spiritual services to enhance the quality of life with peace and dignity for patients and support for families.\u201d Bella Care Hospice is proud to have locations in five Ohio cities, serving many communities. \u201cBella Care Hospice is a compassionate team of doctors, nurses, social workers, bereavement and spiritual coordinators, volunteers, and therapists who meet medical, physical, and emotional needs of patients, communities, and families.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Ross staff, faculty, and students truly enjoyed hearing about all the different aspects of Bella Care and many wanted information to get involved with the organization. However, having the opportunity to decorate the facility for the residents of Bella Care was the project that the students truly enjoyed. They were excited and touched to be able to display their generosity and creativity to help the residents and their families to get into the Christmas spirit.
