{"id":12851,"date":"2014-08-15T15:24:41","date_gmt":"2014-08-15T19:24:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rosseducation.edu\/?p=12851"},"modified":"2014-08-15T15:24:41","modified_gmt":"2014-08-15T19:24:41","slug":"ross-medical-education-center-ann-arbor-celebrates-student-appreciation-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rosseducation.edu\/blog\/ross-medical-education-center-ann-arbor-celebrates-student-appreciation-month\/","title":{"rendered":"Ross Medical Education Center in Ann Arbor Celebrates Student Appreciation Month"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t<a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Ross_Medical_Ann_Arbor_Student_Appreciation_Month_608.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-12871\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Ross_Medical_Ann_Arbor_Student_Appreciation_Month_608.jpg\" alt=\"Ross Medical Ann Arbor Student Appreciation Month\" width=\"576\" height=\"768\" \/><\/a>This June was Student Appreciation Month at <a href=\"https:\/\/rosseducation.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ross Medical Education Center<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/rosseducation.edu\/campus\/mi\/ann-arbor.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ann Arbor, Michigan<\/a>. The celebration began with faculty writing something special about each one of their students and giving the note to them. All of the students appreciated the wonderful comments and encouragement.<\/p>\n<p>The campus\u2019 Career Services department provided the students with an ice cream social. There were so many toppings to choose from! They also gave the students the option of making their creation in a cone or in a bowl. This definitely was a big hit with the students!<\/p>\n<p>Then, Admissions followed suit by giving the students a pizza party. Students were excited and thankful to have lunch provided and to spend time with their friends and instructors. The admissions team also handed out their business cards and information packets so current students could share with their friends and families about all the great <a href=\"https:\/\/rosseducation.edu\/programs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">programs<\/a> that Ross has to offer!<\/p>\n<p>For the remainder of the month, there were many more fun activities. During the last week, each day had a special privilege or event. On Monday, the students were allowed to wear Ross colors to class. Tuesday was \u201cTalent Tuesday,\u201d and the students participated in karaoke and showed off some of their many talents. Wednesday, students got the chance to represent their favorite sports team by wearing jerseys and fan gear. Thursday was \u201cThrowback Thursday,\u201d and the students were very creative and enthusiastic about dressing up in gear from the past! Finally, Friday was \u201cFreestyle Friday,\u201d and the students were able to wear what they find to be most comfortable. Many wore jeans or summer dresses.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s Student Appreciation Month was a huge success! The students enjoyed the recognition of their hard work and the opportunity to have some fun with their instructors and classmates.
