\t\t\t\t\"Ross<\/a>The month of January turned out to be an incredibly exciting month for the newest Ross Medical Education Center<\/a> campus in Huntsville, Alabama<\/a>! To start off, they celebrated the end of their first MOD for evening students in the Medical Assistant<\/a> program. Finishing a MOD is always a big achievement, and the Medical Assistant students were thrilled to be that much closer to their future goals. They also got a chance to reflect on how appreciative they are that Ross had moved into the area and they had the opportunity to pursue their dreams.<\/p>\n

\"Ross<\/a>Then, the excitement continued as the students, faculty, and staff took the time to prepare for their Campus Open House and Ribbon Cutting. The entire campus community participated in cleaning up and beautifying the campus for the big day. Finally, on January 29, 2015 the big day arrived! During the ceremony, the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville\/Madison County, Alabama<\/a> presented Ross Medical Education Center in Huntsville with a certificate for the Ribbing Cutting. The ceremony was well attended with representation from city and state officials. Also, prominent members of the various businesses and organizations in the local medical community were present. United States Senator Mo Brooks and Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle were also in attendance. It was a very meaningful and exciting time for the campus. \u201cOur Ribbon Cutting Ceremony provided a fabulous debut of our campus to local leaders and community professionals,\u201d said Kristi Newton, Career Services Representative from the campus.<\/p>\n

Finally, they wrapped up the month with student group meetings to discuss upcoming events for the months of February and March including the \u201cA New Leash on Life Campaign\u201d and the \u201cNorth Alabama Heart Walk. The \u201cA New Leash on Life Campaign\u201d is hosted by the Veterinary Assistant<\/a> students, and the Ross team for the\u201cNorth Alabama Heart Walk\u201d is under the direction of the Medical Assistant students. Students were also excited to know that they will have the opportunity to be active participants in the Ross annual food drive.\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
