It was a very successful event with around 60 graduates and their friends and families in attendance; the campus was excited for the best turn out they have had to date.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s keynote speaker was Ross\u2019 very own Terry LeBendig, <a href=\"\/programs\/medical-insurance-billing-and-office-administration\/\">Medical Insurance Billing and Office Administration<\/a> Instructor. LeBendig shared encouraging words and wise advice to the graduates and the family and friends in the audience. The ceremony also featured two student speakers and encouraging words from several staff and faculty members. The entire event was filled with inspiration and pride over what had been accomplished and excitement for the future!<\/p>\n<p>In addition to celebrating all that the graduates had accomplished, a special dedication and tradition was shared this year, acknowledging the very unexpected death of one of the campus\u2019 recent graduates, Louis Folske. Louis brought a certain shine and spark to the campus that everyone grew to know and understand. It wasn\u2019t until Louis was well into the program that the staff and faculty learned he had numerous life obstacles that would have normally prevented students from completing their schooling, but they did not stop not Louis! His daily ambition and determination was a driving force for him.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout all of the obstacles he faced, Louis remained a mentor to his peers. His classmates, instructors, and staff remembered him as being charismatic, kind to everyone, and a truly genuine and good hearted person. In honor of Louis, the New Baltimore campus created the Louis Folske Perseverance Award.
