{"id":1839,"date":"2012-05-24T16:38:43","date_gmt":"2012-05-24T20:38:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/therossblog.com\/?p=1839"},"modified":"2012-05-24T16:38:43","modified_gmt":"2012-05-24T20:38:43","slug":"port-huron-and-new-baltimore-raise-nearly-1800-for-local-charities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rosseducation.edu\/blog\/port-huron-and-new-baltimore-raise-nearly-1800-for-local-charities\/","title":{"rendered":"Port Huron and New Baltimore Raise Nearly $1,800 for Local Charities"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mceTemp\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Port Huron and New Baltimore walked for two\u00a0wonderful causes during the month of May.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div>For the second year in a row, the <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?hl=en&amp;geocode=&amp;q=Ross+Medical+Education+Center+2887+Krafft+Road+Ste.+700+Port+Huron+michigan+48060+\">Port Huron<\/a> campus participated in the March of Dimes\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.marchforbabies.org\/default.aspx\">March for Babies<\/a>. This year&#8217;s five-mile walk was held on May 6. The weather was perfect for walking and more than 30 students, staff and family members walked for the cause.\u00a0The campus goal was to raise\u00a0$1,000.00. We exceeded our goal and raised $1,182.00. Thanks to everyone for making this event a huge success!<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?hl=en&amp;geocode=&amp;q=Ross+Medical+Education+Center+51133+Birch+Street,+Suite+100+New+Baltimore+michigan+48047+\">New Baltimore<\/a> did its share of walking on May 12-13 during <a href=\"http:\/\/www.relayforlife.org\">Relay for Life<\/a> to benefit the American Cancer Society.
