The \u201cBeans for Jeans\u201d drive resulted in over 700 pounds of food to benefit Kalamazoo county residents.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Marv King, Warehouse Director at Loaves and Fishes said, \u201cWhile many churches donate on a regular basis, it\u2019s unusual to have a school show this level of consistency, and that\u2019s what\u2019s really great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There are 26 Loaves and Fishes pantries in Kalamazoo county. In August, the organization delivered over 150,000 pounds of food to meet the needs of 8,600 residents.
