\t\t\t\t\"Ross<\/a>Each holiday season, the staff, faculty, and students from the Ross Medical Education Center campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan<\/a> work hard to help make the holidays special for members of their community. This year they decided to partner with the Toys for Tots Foundation<\/a> to make sure that children in their area were given Christmas presents. They worked hard to purchase and collect toys and other gifts throughout the month.<\/p>\n

When the drive was coming to a close, the Ross Ann Arbor students had a special surprise when Toys for Toys representative, Amanda James, dropped by to visit the campus and to personally pick up the toys the students and staff collected for the drive. Previously, they thought that the gifts would just be taken by staff and dropped off to the organization. They were excited to meet and talk with her, and Ms. James indicated that coming by was no trouble at all and and shared, \u201cI would do anything for Toys for Tots.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Ross<\/a>Starting in the beginning of December, staff, faculty, and students purchased and donated blocks, dolls, trucks, coloring books and crayons for area children. Erica Carter, a current student in the Ann Arbor Medical Assistant program at Ross<\/a>, was thrilled to be a part of such a positive community event. She said, \u201cit is important to give because many kids and their families can\u2019t buy toys.\u201d She and her classmates in the morning Medical Assistant class had the opportunity to help load the toys on the truck. Many children will have Happy Holidays due to the students and staff at Ross Medical Education Center in Ann Arbor.<\/p>\n
