Jessica Irons, a graduate of the Dental Assistant program in Fort Wayne, Indiana was one of those in every sense. She was described by her Dental Assistant Instructor, Tina Rivera, as possessing many strong leadership qualities that were very apparent throughout her educational journey.

Jessica was also incredibly hard working. In fact, from the beginning of her training program until the very end, she maintained a 4.0 GPA. Her success in the classroom, both academically and in motivating her peers, clearly demonstrated her dedication, drive to succeed, and persistence to accept nothing less than the absolute best. Ms. Rivera commented, “she has been a mentor for students who were here before and for all incoming students in the Dental Assistant program.” Jessica always displayed a willing attitude and, before graduating, her instructor declared that she “will one day make an excellent Dental Assistant.”

Jessica was confident that becoming a Dental Assistant was what she wanted for her life and her family. “I pursued a dental career because it would allow me to be the type of mother that I always dreamed of for my children,” she shared. “It will allow for a better schedule so that I can be home for ball games and important events and also bring in more income for my family.” Not only was she sure that her field was the right one, she knew that Ross was a perfect fit.

As a student at Ross, Jessica loved the hands on experience that gave her the opportunity to become prepared for future work in the Dental Assistant field. She also enjoyed the smaller class sizes because they allowed more time to ask questions and receive more one-on-one attention from instructors. When asked for any tips of success to share with those considering a Ross education, she said, “start now. If you feel you are ready, don’t wait. The time will pass anyway, whether you start or not.”

Jessica took her own advice and completed her program. She is now employed at Warsaw Orthodontics as a Dental Assistant. The Fort Wayne campus could not be more proud of Jessica and her accomplishments!

Every so often, a graduate of Ross Medical Education Center is one that inspires staff and faculty with their commitment…
Read More

[15
