Do you love helping people? As a Medical Assistant, you will work directly with patients, helping them to feel at ease from the time they come in throughout any testing or procedures they have to undergo, until they leave. If finding a career that is truly worthwhile and has a positive impact on others is important to you, medical assisting may be a great option. Each day you\u2019ll be going to work with doctors, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team, making a difference in people\u2019s lives. Medical Assistant training is fast but thorough.<\/h4>\n

Because they are such an important of the healthcare team, Medical Assistants receive training on a specific set of skills and don\u2019t have to waste time with all of the classes that have nothing to do with their training. Starting on day one, you will find yourself receiving instruction on the actual information and tasks that you will need as a Medical Assistant in the field. After your classroom experience, you will be assigned an externship site and will receive more opportunities for training and hands-on practice in a real medical facility!<\/p>\n

At Ross, the Medical Assistant program can be completed in as little as 30 weeks for morning students and 36 weeks for afternoon and evening students! That means that in under nine months, you could be done with your training and out in the field. At the end of your training, you will have the chance to sit for the Registered Medical Assistant exam<\/a> and become certified in your field!<\/p>\n

\"Medical<\/a>As a Medical Assistant, you will have many different options as far as the type of healthcare setting you work in. Many Medical Assistants work in doctor\u2019s offices or medical clinics, but there are also other types of facilities that need Medical Assistants. Some Medical Assistants are interested in working in a specialized medical office.
