According to their website, since 1969 they have developed unique, high-quality housing, support programs, and services that provide support, intervention, training, and assistance to runaway, homeless, and high-risk youth and their families.

Through these support services, Ozone House helps the youth they work with to develop essential life skills, improve their relationships, and enhance their self-image. Just by being a positive presence and giving the opportunity to be involved in their programs, this organization changes the lives of these children in amazing ways. Their objective is to ensure that these local kids have what they need to realize their full potential for growth and happiness and to help their families be supported and in turn support their children. In fact, they speak directly to these children on their site, saying, “Whether youth need shelter, housing, individual or family counseling, 1:1 support and life skills, a job, to enroll in school, or a hot meal, our door is always open.”

These efforts in the Ann Arbor campus were headed up by Financial Aid Student Support Representative Jenn Erger-Morris. She is passionate about seeing children find success and purpose no matter their circumstances. Jenn shared, “the Ozone House has an amazing program and it’s a good feeling being able to contribute to the well being of our youth.” Campus Director Patrice Ross agreed. She was proud of the Ross students as they rallied together to collect supplies for these kids that deserved a chance to succeed. “Our students were excited to contribute as some of them have received services offered through Ozone House,” said Patrice. “Allie Schachter Ozone House’s Development Director thanked us for offering to do a school supply drive on Ozone House’s behalf!”

During the month of August, the Ross Medical Education Center Ann Arbor, Michigan campus collected school supplies for a local…
Read More

[2
