\t\t\t\t\"RossEvery year, each Ross community does something special for Halloween. For Ross Medical Education Center in Kokomo, Indiana<\/a>, they got to participate in a local event for the second year in a row. Staff, faculty, and students once again participated in the Solidarity Community Halloween Event<\/a>. The event brings together businesses and families for costume contests and candy fun! Because it has been running in the community for so long, it has now become a yearly tradition for many local families during the Halloween season.<\/p>\n

\"RossDuring the event, they enjoyed passing out Ross Halloween pumpkin tattoos, candy, and other items to over 6,000 people in the local community. \u201cIt has been a great opportunity for our staff, faculty, and students to come together and be a part of our community,\u201d said Campus Director Shannon Spencer. \u201cIt is a privilege to be able to help our community to have a safe and happy Halloween for the the kids.\u201d This event continues to grow in size and popularity as it is entirely free to participate in as a vendor and anyone can attend the event for no cost!<\/p>\n

\"RossDiane TenBrook, Solidarity Community\u2019s<\/a> VP of Marketing, is a big proponent of this annual event. \u201cOver the last 17 years, the event has become a tradition for many in the community,\u201d TenBrook said. She also shared that she was looking forward to another year. \u201cPeople enjoy it. It\u2019s a safe and secure place for adults to take kids trick-or-treating. They don\u2019t have to worry. They know all these businesses handing out candy are reputable, legitimate businesses, and they know we have great security with the Kokomo Police Department there and the Howard County Sheriff\u2019s Department,\u201d she said.\u201cWe were so excited last year when we got 50 vendors, so to have 60 this year, we\u2019re just thrilled to death.\u201d\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
