The Ross campus in Cincinnati is the place to be this fall! One thing they are very excited about is their new sign. They are so proud to have their name on display for all to see as they drive around the Tri-County area!
Also, they have had many fun events on campus and out in the community. Staff and students had a blast welcoming in the fall weather with a spirit week involving all kinds of themed dress days. Some of the days were: Crazy Sock Day, Crazy Hat Day, and Mix and Match Scrub Day! They had quite the wild bunch on campus that week!
This month they also began a campus recycling program. Thanks to Cincinnati Admissions Representative, Brittany, they have started recycling all paper, paper products, aluminum, and plastic. Recycling bins can be found all around campus, and they are committed to making sure that recyclable goods are not thrown away! They are doing their part to make their campus a little more “green” and keep our environment clean!
To continue the fall fun, the campus participated in a breast cancer walk at Yeatman’s Cove in downtown Cincinnati on October 13. They had a great turn out of students, faculty, and family members. They even surpassed their campus fundraising goal by raising over $500! The Ross community was inspired to walk with so many other supporters and hear their heartfelt stories.
In addition to helping the environment and community, they also have made time for a little friendly competition. October started with a pumpkin decorating contest, and in November each of the classes battled it out during the Food Drive Week to see who could donate the most non-perishables. The morning Medical Assistant students defeated the reigning champions, the Dental Assistant students, to win a pizza party and casual dress day!
To squeeze in a little more fun before students enjoyed their Thanksgiving break, Cincinnati hosted its First Annual Tailgate! Students were able to enjoy a “Tailgate Thursday” in spirit of all the sports action happening this fall. Students were able to dress in their favorite team’s jersey or colors. Then, they had a fun end-of-the week party with chips and soda and the other delicious treats and snacks that the students brought in to share.
Cincinnati has even more planned for the rest of this holiday season! Catch up with Cincinnati next month to check out their holiday spirit as they celebrate the end of another amazing year!
