Opened in 1989, the Ross Medical Education Center Kentwood campus is on the southwest side of the city and can be easily accessed by both I-96 and US-131. The campus is conveniently located on the Grand Rapids public transit route 44 and is across the street from Horrocks Market.
As the second largest city in Michigan and the largest city in Western Michigan, Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas house a large network of hospitals, specialty clinics, pharmacies, and research centers. This combination of healthcare facilities makes Kentwood a great location to pursue healthcare training.

I love the staff and how helpful and understanding everyone is. I came to Ross at the age of 28 ready for a fresh start. Everyone was ready to help me succeed in my goals. This is the first time I have felt accomplished. Coming to Ross gave me the fresh start I was looking for.Lucinda Smeal Current Dental Assistant student at Erlanger, KY campus Graduation: August 7, 2019
My name is Kimberly. I'm going to tell you how Ross has changed my life. I was working 40-60 hours a week at a factory, 7 days a week. I made the decision to try Ross and see where this life adventure takes me. I am now an RMA and work at Speciality Clinic. I worked very hard on working full time and going to school full time. Ross was a very important decision that I made for my life and a very special place for me. I would recommend that anyone try Ross. It will change your life forever, it did mine. Thank you - KimberlyKimberly Mangold Graduate Medical Assistant student at Portage, MI campus Graduation: June 4, 2018
Ross has been great in my life. The instructors got me through some hard times in class and in my personal life. This experience has been wonderful. I've never completed any higher education until now. Ross has driven me to continue toward my nursing degree. After externship, I now work for a great doctor in pain management, and I love it.Toshiba Smith Graduate Medical Assistant student at Granger, IN campus Graduation: December 31, 2018
Before I joined Ross, I lost my job, my car, and I lost a child. I came to the conclusion that I was tired of being broke and working dead end jobs that I didn't enjoy doing. I wanted to do something I enjoyed and got paid to do because I take pride in my work. I always have to consider my 5 year old daughter when I make my life decisions, because she's been with me through all the struggles within the past five years. This time around I just had a talk with God. I asked him what I was destined for. That's how I ended up at Ross Medical. I am enrolled in the medical assistant program. I want to be a Phlebotomist and EKG Technician. The teachers and advisers are awesome! They are very fluent, vocal, and hands on when it comes to helping their students be successful. I enjoy coming to school every day. When I'm having a rough day, everyone is so welcoming, warming, family oriented, and understanding. Ross makes me happy. I appreciate and thank you ALL.Keturah Roberson Graduate Medical Assistant student at Saginaw, MI campus Graduation: January 17, 2019
