Opened in 2008, the Ross Medical Education Center Cincinnati campus is conveniently located just north of the downtown area. The campus can be easily accessed by both I-75 and I-275 and is across the street from the Tri-County Mall on Kemper Rd.
As the third largest city in Ohio, nestled on the state line between Ohio and Kentucky, Cincinnati has access to a large network of hospitals, specialty clinics, pharmacies, and research centers. This combination of healthcare facilities makes Cincinnati a great location to pursue healthcare training.
A few things I like about Ross are the class size: not too big and not too small, so you're sure to get any answers or questions you have answered in class. Another thing I like is their hands-on portion in clinic. To me, it is very helpful and handy to learn before going out to extern. Lastly, what I like is the support you have from everyone. They just want to see you succeed and be confident. Also, the peer tutor program that is available to offer more help from students in your own class.RJ Russell Graduate Medical Assistant student at Knoxville, TN campus Graduation: January 31, 2019
Why do I like Ross? I like Ross because it has been one of the best programs I have attended. It?s very informative and my instructor makes everything so easy to understand. Having a great instructor makes a world of difference. I have always wanted to be in the medical field but never really had the time to go to a four year college. Ross has given me the opportunity to get in the medical field without having to attend a four year college program. Being able to be done with school in as little as six months has to be one of the best things about Ross.Kendra Chaffee Graduate Medical Assistant student at Brighton, MI campus Graduation: April 24, 2019
I began my journey of becoming a medical assistant at the age of 49 years young. I chose Ross in Portage and my instructors were polar opposites but they both had my success and best interest at heart. I am now a medical assistant at one of the major hospitals in the area, working in orthopedics. Ross helped me have a successful career because they trained me to be the best I could be. Thank you, Ross, for allowing me to be part of your family.Kimberly Garner Graduate Medical Assistant student at Portage, MI campus Graduation: November 3, 2017
My experience at Ross Medical Education Center was very AMAZING! I learned so many things that I never knew about the human body and how it functions. I also learned how to do everything that is required in the medical assistant program to have a chance to go to extern to be able to get more of the hands-on feeling of how things are. The instructors and students are very friendly and very helpful in everyway!Carlissa Davis Graduate Medical Assistant student at Huntsville, AL campus Graduation: January 18, 2019
Coming to Ross has made a big change in my life! I've been able to restart my life and give my daughter the childhood that she deserves. Without Ross, I would not have found my best friend. Dreams really do come true if you work hard enough for it.Jaclyn Derhammer Graduate Medical Assistant student at Lafayette, IN campus Graduation: January 18, 2019
