The weather couldn’t have been better when the Davison campus walked for Williams Syndrome on Saturday, May 19.
Ross walked to bring awareness to Williams Syndrome, which is a genetic condition present at birth that affects about 1 in 10,000 people worldwide. An estimated 20,000 to 30,000 people in the U.S. currently suffer from this condition. Williams Syndrome causes serious medical problems, such as cardiovascular disease, developmental delays, and learning disabilities. Yet, individuals with Williams Syndrome are often highly sociable and enjoy contributing to their communities in whatever ways they can.
The Davison campus was happy to support this worthy cause and raised nearly $200.00. Thanks to all who walked with us on this day!
