This January, the Ross Medical Education Center’s Career Services Department in Brighton chose to collect donations for the Livingston County Humane Society. During these cold winter months we can not help but to think about the safety and well being of our Furry Family. The majority of Brighton’s staff and students all own a pet and share a common love for all animals. When this drive was announced, the level of excitement was buzzing around campus and everyone couldn’t wait to start bringing in items to show their love and support.
“I am so overwhelmed with joy by the generosity our staff and students have shown with this drive!” Shared Tiffany Phizacklea of Career Services.
Over 400 items were collected in just a matter of a week! Between January 27th and the 31st students and staff were asked to bring in items from the Livingston County Humane Society Wish List. It was an incredible sight to see all the donations pour into the campus. From big bags of dog food to tiny toys, every donation was heartfelt and thoughtful!
