There are two students in this graduating class that have excelled both in their studies and in their personal growth during their time with us at Ross College Online. Their instructors found it to be impossible to make a choice between the two, so for this graduating class we will honor both as co-valedictorians!
Since graduating high school in 2012, Alexandra wanted to go back to school to eventually enter the medical field. Although she was a new mother and home-maker, she discovered she could still accomplish her goal by earning her degree from Ross College. She enrolled in the Medical Billing Administrative Specialist Associate of Applied Science degree program.
Alexandra went on to earn exemplary grades throughout her program eventually earning her a 3.97 GPA.
Alexandra is originally from the Macomb area, but now lives in Alberta, Canada, where her husband currently works. They are the proud parents to their daughter, Aurora, and their Chihuahua, Rocco. She is a state-wide competitive singer, and a certified SCUBA diver. Her favorite book is currently, Before I Go to Sleep by S.J. Watson. She enjoys a wide variety of music, but her favorite genre is country.

Rachel graduated from the Ross Medical Assistant program in 2002. “My Ross experience was wonderful and from it I had a great job in an OB/GYN office. From there I was able to work as a phlebotomist at St. Mary’s Hospital in Livonia, MI.” After that, and after some time working at General Motors, Rachel decided she wanted to once again pursue a career in the medical field. She enrolled in the Ross College Medical Assistant Associate of Applied Science Degree program to further her education.
Rachel worked hard throughout her program, eventually earning a 3.91 GPA.
Rachel currently live in Livonia, MI. She is the proud mother to a 23-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. She also has two cats who, “rule the house.” Their names are Puff, who was adopted from Petsmart, and Bella, who was given to Rachel by a family friend. Rachel loves reading and recently finished Ghostboy by Martin Pistorius, which she highly recommends.
