On Saturday, October 1, Ross joined in the fun at the 16th Annual “Make a Difference” Day in New Baltimore. Hosted by The Lions Club and sponsored by more than 100 local businesses, attendees received free food, health screenings, and vaccinations.
Corinna Freeman, Campus Director, Nina Ostrowski, Career Development Coordinator and Denise Smith, Office Assistant, led the activities at the booth. Each child decorated a balloon with googly eyes, lips, bandages and stickers.
“The kids had a blast putting a face on their balloons,” said Freeman. “It was a fun thing to do, considering that many of them had just gotten a flu shot!”
With hundreds of people in attendance and the opportunity to meet other health professionals, New Baltimore looks forward to participating in next year’s event.
