On Wednesday, November 20, 2013, Ross celebrated the grand opening of its fourth Indiana campus. Evansville is the newest addition to the growing Ross community. The exciting event included family fun entertainment with special guests Mater (from Disney Cars) and Duster the Clown, a traditional ribbon cutting, and a spotlight by local radio station, Hot 96 FM. The ribbon cutting ceremony was open to the public and attended by faculty, staff, and ambassadors from the local Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to taking part in the fun, students were also able to show their Ross spirit by donating non-perishable items to benefit a community food drive. The campus collectively donated over 200 non-perishable items to the Tri-state Food Bank that will be provided to local families in need. Way to go!
Director Stephanie Arendt brought Ross center stage through a live radio interview with Hot 96 morning DJ Atom Smasher. Through a series of live segments, Ms. Arendt was able to provide information on the event, the programs offered, and contact information for the campus.
The students and staff at Evansville campus are excited to be a part of the incredible Ross family!
