February is Heart Health Month, and the students at Ross’ Port Huron campus honored the occasion by sharing valentines with local cardiology patients at Cardiology Associates of Port Huron, PC.
Katie Feldhouse, Office Manager at Cardiology Associates of Port Huron, PC, shared that the office was excited to pass along the heartfelt valentines to their patients: “We distributed the cards to remind patients how important heart health really is. The physicians and staff were greatly appreciative to the students and staff at Ross Medical Education Center for the thoughtful cards!”
Cardiology Associates of Port Huron, PC, has been a mainstay in the community. It serves as an excellent training resource for many Ross students and as an employer for some graduates, as well.
Heart Health Month is recognized in order to remind people to take care of their hearts and to encourage those with heart disease to continue fighting, as it is the leading cause of death in the United States. The symptoms of a heart attack include nausea, shortness of breath, chest pain, and more.
