For Heart Month in February, Port Huron students put pen to paper to sign get well wishes for the patients of Cardiology Associates, a local medical group that specializes in the care of cardiovascular diseases.
“We know that depression and heart disease often go hand-in-hand and wanted to show the patients that we support them on their way to recovery, both physically and mentally,” said Mia Vargo, Campus Director, Port Huron.
