Ross Medical Education Center, located at 9327 Telegraph Road, had a lot of fun making the season bright for many local kids in December.
We collected two large boxes of books and more than 50 stuffed animals for children and teens as part of the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation’s annual SNOWPILE fundraiser.
In addition, students and staff also donated coats and other winter clothing items for Operation Warm, a nationwide program that provides new winter outerwear to needy kids. In 2011, the organization hopes to donate its one-millionth coat.
“We were very excited to participate in these two very worthwhile events” said Jeri Putman, Campus Director, Ross. “To know that we’re helping to put a smile on a young person’s face is a great feeling.”
Thanks to all who participated!
