Roosevelt Park joined forces with Latinos Working for the Future and other health organizations at the first “Fiesta de Salud” or Festival of Health on August 23 at Smith-Ryerson Park in Muskegon.
Lisa Pastor, campus director and Kristi Fulton, admissions representative, gave balloons to the kids and talked to their parents about Ross. In addition to entertainment and food, attendees were able to receive health screenings, including mammograms.
“We had a a lot of fun meeting local residents,” Pastor said. “Not only did we get to tell everyone how active our campus is in the community, but we were able to talk about Ross and what it has to offer prospective students.”
Thanks to everyone who came by to visit us in the park!
