Temperatures may have been in the 40’s with blustery winds blowing on Friday, April 25th in New Baltimore, but things were heating up inside the Anchor Bay Middle School as Instructors and Staff were busy making preparations for the 2nd Annual Ross Medical Graduation Ceremonies.
Past MIBOA student Darin Aiello could be overheard sharing his excitement regarding his current job opportunity, with a group of MIBOA ladies and MACCS recipient Deborah Stefaniak, Dental Assistant Graduate.
The nostalgic sounds of Pomp and Circumstance stirring emotion in some and signaling the beginning of the activities could be heard from the auditorium as the graduates began their entrance and family and visitors were welcomed.
As the Keynote Address was delivered a focus on Following Dreams and Overcoming Obstacles in a highly elite profession was emphasized.
“Dream no small dreams, think no small thoughts,
Run as fast as you can
Then accelerate…. and run beyond all your expectations!”
Director Jennifer Maniaci, with abundant enthusiasm, handed out beautiful roses much deserved compliments and rewards as staff members made introductions and congratulations. Congratulations Class of 2013-14 was heard many times throughout the ceremony with returned shouts of OPA!, now a New Baltimore Ross Tradition. Family and Staff took pictures some of which are attached, handed out bouquets and enjoyed refreshments with students before ending the evening!
