The staff, faculty, and students in our Ross Medical Education Campus in Taylor, MI participated in the National “Go Red for Women” campaign by wearing red to the campus on Friday, February 1st. A presentation which emphasized heart health for women was shared. The students learned about the warning signs of a heart attack, risk factors for heart disease, and lifestyle changes that could be made in order to maintain a healthy heart. This was perfect timing for the Evening Medical Assistant students, who are in Module 4 and learning all about the heart!
