ReadyOnly graduates of Ross Medical Education Center or Ross College’s Medical Insurance Billing and Office Administration program are eligible to apply for this degree.
Learn the skills necessary to receive a Medical Insurance Billing and Office Administration Specialist Associate of Applied Science Degree.
Students will learn the skills that will help them succeed in a medical office setting in positions such as medical records clerk, billing specialist, office manager, or medical receptionist. Instructors will cover topics like administrative office skills including management of electronic medical records, preparing payroll, and accurate completion of insurance claim forms.
Among the courses students will take throughout the Medical Insurance Billing and Office Administration Specialist Associate of Applied Science Degree program include Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Communication, Computer Fundamentals, and Core Concepts in Health.
In addition to their classroom time, students will have to complete outside coursework to meet program requirements, as well as a capstone project. Graduates of the program will have the ability to gain an understanding of the fundamental skills necessary for success in the allied health field.

I am a student in the Pharmacy Technician program here at Ross. I love this program so much. It has helped and motivated me to make the best out of my life. I never thought I would have a job that was not in the food service industry! I really enjoy coming to school and learning as much as I can. The staff here has helped me reach for the stars and I have maintained a 3.5 gpa for the majority of this course. I cannot wait to graduate in March and live the life that my child and I deserve!
