Resources for Career Quest transfer students

Since 1995, Career Quest and Ross Medical Education have shared the same academic vision to provide quality health care training throughout central Michigan. While any institutional closing is difficult, Career Quest has worked diligently to provide transfer options for students to continue their academic pursuit without interruption. As part of this effort, Career Quest has entered into a partnership with Ross Education, ensuring students can complete their program with the best opportunity for on-time graduation.

Ross understands that this time is unsettling and difficult, as a teach-out partner, our highest priority is to preserve the quality of the student experience through a seamless transition of your academic studies. Ross is committed to reducing your uncertainty by honoring your current tuition rate and transferring your earned credits into corresponding Ross Education programs.

As a Ross student, you'll discover a campus community that is dedicated to your success beginning at the time of your enrollment. Ross has streamlined the admissions and transfer process for Career Quest students who are exploring ways to continue their health care training.

Specific details are below:

  • Ross's Academic team will evaluate each student's transcript for credit transfer and develop an individualized academic pathway.
  • Ross's corporate Admissions team will meet with students to review their transfer credits and provide further information about Ross Medical Education Center.
  • Once the admissions process is completed, the student will meet remotely with the Ross Education financial aid team to determine a financial aid plan to complete their program of study.
  • Ross College will deliver the online component of education and the residential campuses located in Lansing, Saginaw and Jackson will be utilized for labs. (specific weekly labs time will vary by campus)
  • Each student will have a specific academic plan created prior to courses beginning, which will detail courses required to graduate and module start / end dates.

Students who express interest in the Ross Education teach-out partnership can provide their information at the following location: rosseducation.edu/start/career-quest/.

The "teach-out" will begin on or about September 20, 2021.

It is our goal to provide the transitioning Career Quest Learning Centers student a good Ross education experience as well as a good "Ross welcome."

As always, we truly appreciate you and your choice to attend Ross to pursue your goal of a career path in your chosen program field.

We look forward to meeting with you! Welcome to Ross!
