The Ross Medical Education Center campuses in Ann Arbor, Brighton, Canton, and Taylor have enjoyed a partnership with Manpower, Inc in Ann Arbor, MI as a graduate employer for their Medical Assistant and Medical Insurance Billing and Office Administration students for the last several years. The partnership is already strong and only continues to grow. In fact, from the Brighton campus alone, they have hired approximately 60 Ross graduates! The graduates that have been hired by Manpower have expressed their enjoyment in working for them and their appreciation for the doors that open to them in the field. The staff is consistently very supportive of students and Ross as a whole, serving on the Advisory Board and visiting the campuses to assist with mock interviews.

What do you like about Ross graduates?
They are prepared to enter the workforce after graduating from Ross. The strong education they receive and the experience that they gain on their externship helps them to be successful in the workforce.

We can always depend on them to provide us with capable and knowledgeable medical assistants, medical billers, and other administrative healthcare staff.
How is the Career Services staff at Ross?
They are always friendly, they care about their students, and they are attentive to our requests.
What would you say is the benefit of Ross’ externship program?
We know that through their externship they were able to utilize the skills they learned in class in the workplace and have also gained new skills.

We have a highly successful rate of placement for Ross graduates who choose to come to work for Manpower.
What’s the main advantage of hiring a Ross graduate after externship?
The advantage of hiring a Ross grad is the level of skill that they learn in the classroom and the experience that they get through their externship. They come out of the program ready to work, and they already understand work ethic.
If it wasn’t for Ross graduates, how would your organization be affected?
We wouldn’t have as many prepared students to select from for our open positions.
