Attending school is not always easy, and many Ross Medical Education Center graduates know the pressure of working hard to achieve their academic goals while also balancing work and family. They also know the pride that comes from being successful in their schooling and gaining employment upon completion. One of those students is Medical Insurance Billing and Office Administration graduate Sandra Henshaw from the New Baltimore campus. Throughout her time at Ross, Sandra was a driven, dedicated, and hardworking individual who overcame many obstacles on her way to success.
Sandra returned to school after many years to accomplish her goals of becoming professional in the healthcare field. She persevered through and overcame many personal challenges to attend school. She was committed to not only complete, but also be successful throughout her journey. She always maintained a positive attitude even when her struggles seemed to outweigh her successes. As a Medical Insurance Billing and Office Administration student, she maintained perfect attendance throughout her entire program and also ended with a GPA of 3.96. She was well-liked by her peers, and they looked up to her for guidance and encouragement.
Upon graduation from the Medical Insurance Billing and Office Administration program, Sandra secured a full-time position at a local ENT office as a Medical Biller. She was overjoyed to be able to put all her hard work and studying into practice. Now in the workplace, she continues to strive to help her patients just like she helped her peers in class. Terry LeBendig, Medical Insurance Billing and Office Administration Instructor, says of her, “I am so very proud of Sandra and her accomplishments, and I am passionate about Sandra’s success and overall achievement.” All of the staff and faculty look forward to Sandra’s future endeavors and successes and are thankful to have been a part of her journey.
