This month, the Ross Medical Education Center campus in Roosevelt Park had the great pleasure of welcoming Cindy Veurink, a recruiter with Dialog Direct, to the campus. She came to present and to meet with students and graduates of both the Medical Insurance Billing and Office Administration and Medical Assistant programs regarding Licensed Health Insurance Advisor positions. The experience was definitely one that both she and the students and graduates enjoyed and were thankful for. They both hope that this is another step towards a community partnership moving forward.
Dialog Direct is a national leader in the data-driven marketing solutions and customer experience business. Cindy came to talk to the Ross students and graduates because they will soon be hiring to fill over one hundred positions for both Licensed and Unlicensed Health Care Advisors. These healthcare professionals will be there to assist with Medicare Open Enrollment Season at their Holland Michigan headquarters. According to Cindy, this is a great opportunity for students and graduates because Dialog Direct will pay for them to become licensed and the experience they will gain is sure to make them even more marketable to various other positions in the healthcare field.
The students and graduates were very interested in this potential opportunity in their field. “We appreciate Cindy visiting with our students and graduates and making them aware of opportunities available to them that they may not have known of otherwise,” shared Toni Hamilton, Career Development Representative, about having her at the campus. “Even if they decide that the position isn’t something that interests them, they still benefit from having the opportunity of speaking with an employer and making a connection. Many times, that is the real opportunity as it gives them a boost in confidence in marketing themselves to future employers.” Students and graduates all were able to ask questions and start thinking about this possible opportunity for their future.
