Helen Berling, financial aid coordinator at Ross IMDT in Cincinnati and her husband Jacques “Jack” Berling, recently participated in the Mason, OH Light the Night Walk to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The IMDT team raised over $625.
A former U.S. letter carrier, who walked 5-6 miles per day on his mail route, Jack was diagnosed with leukemia in 2009. He received a life-saving bone marrow transplant from his sister and officially retired from the postal service in 2010.
