What do you like about Ross graduates?
Ross externs and graduates always bring something new and exciting to the office. They have all been friendly and are eager to learn. When they come in they have new ideas and have learned better ways to do things. They bring in new ideas and new ways of doing things.
How is the Career Services staff at Ross?
The Career Services staff checks in by phone about the students and they address issues right away. It’s been a good experience.
How would you describe your experience with having externs from Ross?
It’s definitely helpful, because after they learn what we do here, we can eventually have them work and support the staff with more independence which is helpful when we’re busy.
What’s the success rate of Ross graduates?
They do really well when they get hired here. They are prepared and knowledgeable in patient care, lab draws, finger sticks, EKGs, and many other aspects of the office workflow.
What’s the main advantage of hiring a Ross graduate after externship?
Their experience as far as on the job training is impressive. After their externship, there’s not a lot more that we have to continue training them in. They have been learning as if they are going to be hired. We have hired two graduates from externship. If we needed someone, I wouldn’t hesitate to hire from Ross.
