The Medical Insurance Billing and Office Administration program at Ross is a versatile program that prepares students for a number of entry-level positions in a medical office. Students will leave the program with a basic knowledge of insurance billing, medical coding, and healthcare office administration.
Ross’ Pharmacy Technician program prepares students to work in retail pharmacies, hospitals, and compounding pharmacies and assist licensed pharmacists. The field of pharmacy is growing and changing, and the program at Ross works to prepare students for these ever-evolving demands.
I was unsure about changing my career and taking out more financial aid to pay back. I was excited to come back to school but very nervous. After the first 3 days of my first MOD, I was extremely confident that this is what I wanted. Mrs. Bishoff has made learning so exciting and fun. I really wish I could give her a higher marking. She deserves it. She is by far the best instructor/teacher that I have ever had in all my years of going to school.

In May of 2017, I decided to start my journey, and though many obstacles popped up trying to prevent me from starting, I was able to begin school in June of 2017. When I started school, I was working a part time job and juggling being a full time mom of six beautiful children. It wasn't easy; it took hard work and dedication. I kept two planners: one for work and appointments, the other for school assignments and tests. In January of of 2018, I finished my externship and received my certificate. I even accepted a position when I finished my externship; my hard work had paid off. I absolutely love my job! My team members and patients are great. Best of all, they make work fun. I have truly found my calling.
