Verification Policy
The Government selects certain students for a process called verification. If you are selected Ross will notify you that you were selected and you must clear this requirement within 60 days.
V1 Forms - Dep
This is the standard verification group selected by the federal government. You will need to complete the form, along with providing taxes and W2’s in order to be eligible for federal financial aid.

V4 Form
The is the custom verification group selected by the federal government. You will need to verify your identity and educational purpose either in person or by mail, in order to be eligible for federal aid financial aid.
V5 Forms - Dep
The is the aggregate verification group selected by the federal government. You will need to verify your identity and educational purpose either in person or by mail, as well as provide taxes and W2’s in order to be eligible for federal financial aid.
V5 Forms - Indep

Dependency Override
If you are not able to provide parental data to the FAFSA based on abandonment, abuse, neglect, permanent estrangement or other extenuating circumstances you will provide this form and your supporting documentation to the financial aid office for approval.
Special Circumstances - Dependent
If you have changes to your income, asset or household information or other data elements that you believe would impact your financial aid eligibility you may put this in written request, with supporting documentation and a financial aid administrator will review to make a redetermination of aid.

Unusual Enrollment History Appeal
If you have attended and graduated from more than one school within a certain period of time, the government will flag your FAFSA for what's called "an unusual enrollment pattern". When this happens you will need to fill out the attached form and provide transcripts from all colleges attended within the previous four academic years.
